Anyway, Yata's image of a girl's shyness was now taken from his experiences with Kougyoku. There is so much wrong here. ]

I dunno! She's just really shy, I keep finding her hiding a few feet away just watching me until I talk to her first. [ he shrugs, eating the last of his meal and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. delicious. ]

Is this a new girl you met? She sounds like a little kid. [he still has some food, but it's good to see Yata liked it. ] Enjoyed it?

[ wait... what? ] Kou-chan? [ that's the girl yata was talking about!? he looks surprised, but it's nothing over the top. ] She's a young woman with long fuchsia hair, right? [ not that he feels guilty about what's he's done with her. she's too young for him to fool around with. ] She was the girl you were dating?

Yeah, that's her! She looks like a rabbit. [ he motions over his head where Kougyoku's hair loops would be. ] She's stayin' with us, if you wanna visit. [ since they were clearly friends, right? ]

I wouldn't say she looks like a rabbit, but she has a cute personality. [ wait she's living with him too!? ] So that's the place where you live, too. I've actually been there already since I've spent time with her; I helped take her back to her unit when she first arrived here, so we've kept in contact.

Well, I promised to spend time with her and take her out, but next time I stop by, I'll make sure to say hello at the very least. I didn't know you were living with her and she never mentioned living with you. [ wow he can spoil them both. ] We're hanging out now though, aren't we?

he stands up once he sees Koujaku finish; excitement, yeah!! ] Let's go fishing! I wanna see if there's really somethin' down there! I'll even make you a fire so I don't have to drag your frozen ass back here.

Never mind. I promise next time I drop by I'll for sure say hello to you and your friends.

Oi, calm down. [ he stands up, gathering their bowls to put away. ] Let's clean up or Aoba will have my neck. [ whipped... and he cleans up, putting things away. the place isn't too huge after all. ] Let me grab my sword and we can go.

[ that comment earned a laugh; super whipped. there wasn't much to clean up at least, so Yata just waits for Koujaku to do it and simply pushes the chairs back in. ]

You're taking your sword to go fishing? [ a beat. ] Nevermind, that makes sense... you can't just scare off wild animals with a stick.

For protection, and if we see any animals that could be hunted. [ wait he thinks that over. ] That's not a yeti, I could bring it back to Aoba as an extra gift. Not to mention I might need to pick up some fire wood. [ and he really just likes his sword okay. he picks it up and slings it on his back in its usual position. ]

Alright, let's go. Beni already knows where this cabin is, so if we get lost, I can have him navigate us back. [ let's hope they don't get lost. he opens the door and heads outside. ah, coldness, we meet again. ]

Hey, hey, what's wrong with yetis? They taste pretty good!

[ getting lost would suck, they were nowhere near prepared for that. speaking of Beni, though, ] Oh... yo, ask your chicken where we can get some fishing rods? Or maybe even just string and hooks. [ oops. slight oversight in the whole fishing thing. ]

I'm not sure if Aoba would like it. [ it's all about the Aoba okay. ]

[ he blinks because... wow, uh, yata!! ] Beni can't do something like that as there isn't a shopping network or the internet here. [ so they have nothing. ] Are you sure you want to go fishing? I suppose if we find a shallow enough river, we could spear fish. [ he's thinking with sticks and not his precious sword okay. ]

[ spear fish. koujaku just said the magic words. ]

Whoa, yeah, good idea! I've never done it like that before but it sounds cool as shit! [ he raises his fist up for koujaku; bump it in honor of good ideas, yo. ]

Usually you do it in warmer weather, but... god what did he get himself into!! he'll give a fist bump back. ] If we pick up some sticks, I can carve a sharp edge from my sword.
