[ slightly out of breath, aoba's flushed pink in the face, his mouth a little swollen from the attention. he licks them, tasting koujaku on his tongue. it's not like he hasn't done things like this before-- kissing, and all that. but somehow not seeing koujaku's face kind of helps take some of the embarrassment he'd normally feel away. ]

...? [ he wants to touch koujaku, to kiss him over and over. if koujaku doesn't want to though... ]

What's wrong?

[coiffeur]

[ He really doesn't mean to make it sound like something's wrong. in fact, things are going really well considering how he's feeling. maybe it's because Aoba can't see his face and how he's starting to get turned on by this. ]

Nothing's wrong it's just. [ so much for a cool casanova as he sounds awkward and almost desperate. ] You're really sexy like this. [ he's going to try to compose himself a bit more with a pause, but it's not working. ] It's working me up a lot to the point I want to touch you more.

[intonation]

Stop saying that already... [ damn it, now he's feeling awkward too. aoba's hands are paused by the edges of koujaku's kimono, and he fists the fabric in them to pull him a little closer. he's getting pretty worked up to, though not quite sure how to get around to it.

relying on his voice to belie the extent of his desire, he looks away even though he doesn't need to-- force of habit. ] ...go ahead. I don't mind.

[ hearing him say those words, his first instinct without thinking it over is to make love to him on the couch, but then it takes only a few seconds to realize how much of a bad idea that is. who knows who could show up (he's fooled with women who have kids, but he's always made sure to be extra careful about being seen), not to mention the fact Aoba doesn't have his vision. it feels like he'd be taking advantage of the situation and of Aoba.

He still sounds awkward when he speaks, and while he rather not remind Aoba, he has to bring it up.] But your sight... are you sure?

[intonation]

I trust you. [ his expression caves into a tentative smile. he knows that it's holding koujaku back and he's doing his best to reassure him. but right now, he wants nothing more than to touch koujaku too-- it's like a craving that's eating at him. ] Besides, I'll make sure to let you know if it's too much.

[ which is something aoba's never had a problem with. he hesitates again, another thought crossing his mind. ] But if you're really worried, it's okay...

[coiffeur]

[ to do the honorable, right thing or give into temptation? even if Aoba says it, he still isn't sure Aoba knows what he's getting into. yet he thinks it over, and he knows it's not the right time. ] We don't need to rush anything, right? I'm not going to stop wanting to be with you ever.

[ he gives a quick peck on the lips before he speaks again. ] I want you to experience it will all your senses, and I'll wait for sight to return no matter how long it takes. [ what is it, though. ] It'd be selfish of me just to give into my desires.

[intonation]

[ it?? well, he has a pretty good idea what koujaku means, but for such a playboy, he's sure dancing around things. it makes aoba think that koujaku really is a lot more nervous than he thought, and he's glad he didn't push quite so hard. he likes this side of koujaku too... that caring side of him. ]

Yeah, you're right. [ he cards his fingers through koujaku's hair, his smile growing wider. ] It's not selfish-- more like, I always knew you were a big sap, but...

[ verification!! he rubs his eyes lightly with a sigh. ] Hopefully we won't end up waiting for ages.

[coiffeur]

[ Aoba touching his hair feels relaxing, and while his fingers are different from a woman's, it feels even better. maybe because he knows it's Aoba, and he's always had a soft spot for Aoba's own hair. anyway, it seems like he made the right choice in waiting, so there's a sigh of relief and his body isn't as tense as it was before. ]

I want things to be special with you. [ he could had more flirtatious words or use prettier language, but he wants to be straightforward with him. it's embarrassing to say it like that, sure, but it's how he feels. ] But we could do other things if the moment arises. [ now that slight awkwardness is coming back. it's not the actions themselves, but the fact it's with Aoba. They were once childhood friends and he's still adjusting to this change. ] Aoba, can I ask you something?

[intonation]

[ it's soft and distinctly better cared for than aoba's own mess of locks, the silky texture something of a marvel to him. maybe he should start taking some of his tips.

anyway, just when aoba's sure his face can't get any redder, koujaku seems to change the subject. jumping on it with relief, aoba raises his eyebrows, fingers pausing in their task (plaiting a messy braid) and he's still. ]

Sure, what is it?

[ how to say this? should he just get to the point? it's a weird question to ask, but he's curious. his feelings for Aoba wouldn't change over the answer, but he can't help but ask. ]

You've never been with a guy like this have you? I mean, [ he fixes his bangs. ] dating one?

[intonation]

Eh?

[ of all the questions... he wasn't expecting that one. there's no reason not to answer honestly, so he does. ] Well... I have before, but it wasn't anything serious.

[ and he adds a little uncertainly: ] Girls, too. It's been a while though.

[coiffeur]

Ah. [ he just makes that sound which is pretty vague, and since Aoba' can't see his face, that makes it even more vague. ]

I've only been with women; I usually find girls pretty and never saw a man in such a way. [ yet Aoba is an exception. ] But I'm not saying you look like a woman, even with your long hair. [ as he tries to recover from all this awkward talk, he probably makes it more awkward. ] So being with another man, it's a new experience, but it's you, so it feels like it was meant to be. [ aka "I'm glad I'm being homo with you of all the people in the world." ] I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense.

[intonation]

[ it worries him that he can't tell exactly what's written across koujaku's face right now, and he makes a discomfited sound. ]

What... [ he kind of follows what koujaku's saying-- it's more of his usual embarrassing chatter, and aoba's face is heating up again. the awkward feeling's definitely rising again. what is he even supposed to say to something like this? ]

No, it makes sense. [ no seriously what does he say!! ] It's not that different, so don't worry.

[coiffeur]

[ hearing Aoba say it made sense, it makes him feel more confident and not so nervous. he doesn't want Aoba to think he sees Aoba as a replacement for a woman or anyone in general. he really wants to come off cool but it seems like that has only been sporadically happening. ]

Thank you for telling me. [ he really is thankful!! ] I just want to make you're as happy as I am with you. [ sappy idiot. he touches Aoba's bottom lip with one of his thumbs, trailing it down so he can can grab a hold of his chin with his hand before he kisses him. ]

[intonation]

[ he brushes his hands over koujaku's the sweep of koujaku's collarbone, light and diaphanous, before settling them on his shoulder to keep his balance. ]

I'm happy. [ he reassures koujaku with a soft smile, nestling his face in the curve of koujaku's palm when he kisses him, with a little sound of surprise escaping his lips before he kisses him back in earnest. he puts the feelings he can't quite vocalise into it. ]

[coiffeur]

[ just hearing Aoba's happy reassures him he didn't mess things up. At first he's not sure of Aoba knew what they were getting into to, but now that time has passed, things are becoming a bit more comfortable. of course the awkward moments are still there and the grey area, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

he takes his time when kissing Aoba also putting in emotions and feelings he hasn't fully vocalized yet. it's easier to show how much he cares for Aoba in this way and it's much more honest. his days of being with one too many women have helped with his technique to say the least, but it's his actual feelings make kissing Aoba feel this right and good. he's confident in his kissing and it shows, not seeming hesitant at all as he presses his lips against Aoba's. ]

[intonation]

[ beginning to feel a little heated again from the way koujaku kisses him (he's good), aoba slowly melts against him, limbs going lax and loose. the tension sinks from his muscles, the previously tight set of his shoulders softening. he's not going to lie though-- knowing that koujaku's excellent at this because of all the fooling around he's done makes him a little jealous, and it lends a slightly aggressive edge to the way he nips at koujaku's lower lip, sliding his tongue against his mouth to taste him.

it's strange in its own way. to be here, trapped in this strange place with koujaku, to be touching koujaku like this... but when it feels so right, how could it be wrong at all? ]
